The legend
After the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas sought Shiva to be freed of the sin of killing their own kin. Shiva, displeased, hid in Guptkashi in the form of a bull.
When Bhima recognised him, Shiva began to sink into the earth, and five parts of his body appeared at five places — worshipped today as the Panch Kedar. The Pandavas built a temple at each.
Questions
Is registration mandatory, and do you handle it?
Yes, biometric registration with the Uttarakhand government is compulsory for every yatri. When you travel with us, we complete the registration for your whole group.
Can Kedarnath helicopter tickets be booked through you?
Helicopter tickets can only be booked on the official IRCTC HeliYatra portal — beware of websites asking for advance payment. We guide you through the IRCTC booking and arrange pick-up and drop at the helipad.
How do I book, and how much do I pay upfront?
Share your dates and group size, and we send a day-by-day itinerary with a clear quote. A 25% advance confirms vehicles and hotels, 50% is paid on arrival in Haridwar and the last 25% before the final drop.
Is the yatra comfortable for elderly parents?
With the right pacing, yes. We plan shorter driving days, rest stops and pony, palki or helicopter options for the Kedarnath trek, and keep a yatra manager in touch with the family throughout.
