- Baggage: up to 2 kg per person — no suitcases or hard luggage
- Passenger weight: up to 75 kg; declared weight must match actual weight
- If the group is over the aircraft limit (450 kg), extra passengers may be de-boarded without refund
- Children above 2 years pay full fare; infants under 2 (up to 12 kg) fly free

Kedarnath
The highest of the twelve Jyotirlingas, on a glacial terrace in the Mandakini valley — built by the Pandavas and revived by Adi Shankaracharya.

From Dehradun over the Garhwal hills to Phata or Guptkashi, then up the narrow Mandakini valley to the helipad below the temple.

The legend
After the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas sought Shiva's forgiveness. He hid from them as a bull; where his hump emerged from the earth stands Kedarnath, the highest of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
Adi Shankaracharya revived the shrine, and his samadhi lies just behind the temple. He established the four Dhams by the age of 32.
Questions
Is registration mandatory, and do you handle it?
Yes, biometric registration with the Uttarakhand government is compulsory for every yatri. When you travel with us, we complete the registration for your whole group.
Can Kedarnath helicopter tickets be booked through you?
Helicopter tickets can only be booked on the official IRCTC HeliYatra portal — beware of websites asking for advance payment. We guide you through the IRCTC booking and arrange pick-up and drop at the helipad.
How do I book, and how much do I pay upfront?
Share your dates and group size, and we send a day-by-day itinerary with a clear quote. A 25% advance confirms vehicles and hotels, 50% is paid on arrival in Haridwar and the last 25% before the final drop.
Is the yatra comfortable for elderly parents?
With the right pacing, yes. We plan shorter driving days, rest stops and pony, palki or helicopter options for the Kedarnath trek, and keep a yatra manager in touch with the family throughout.
